A Day At A Time

One thing that keeps me on the right track today is a feeling of loyalty to other members of The Program, no matter where they may be. We depend on each other. I know, for example, that I’d be letting them down if I took a drink. When I came into The Program, I found a group of people who were not only helping each other to stay sober, but who were loyal to each other by staying sober themselves. Am I loyal to my group and to my friends in The Program?

  1. MARCH 14
    THE KEYSTONE
He is the Father, and we are His children. Most good ideas
are simple, and this concept was the keystone of the new
and triumphant arch through which we passed to freedom.

    It takes what it takes”.
It takes what it takes to get me into AA.
It takes what it takes to get me sober.
It takes what it takes to keep me sober.
Most of all it takes Acknowledging God’s presence!

I’m Harry, grateful alcoholic and devoted twelve stepper.

  2. Am I loyal to my friends in AA? I am responsible to be there for those alcoholics who still suffer whether they are drinking or not. I practice love and tolerance.

  3. Top of the afternoon day family,
When I graced the rooms of AA with my biscuits, there was a kind / loving man who came to me and shook my hand. He asked me two of the scariest questions:
    1) What is your name?
    2) How was your weekend?

Step 1, there’s a power trying to kill me.
Step 2, there’s a power that loves me.
Step 3, which one do I desire?
Today, I may not be where “I” want to be, but thank God I’m not where I used to be. “ADAAT”
Its a good day to have a good day.

    What Am I Afraid of?

    Meditation:
What are you afraid of? If you are with Me, who will dare touch you? Nevertheless, I am very pleased that you confide your fears to Me, My daughter. Speak to Me about everything in a completely simple and human way; by this you will give Me great joy. I understand you because I am God-Man. This simple language of your heart is more pleasing to Me than the hymns composed in My honor. Know, My daughter, that the simpler your speech is, the more you attract Me to yourself. And now, be at peace close to My Heart. Lay your pen aside and get ready to leave (Diary, 797).

    Prayer Response:
What a great question, Lord! What am I afraid of? You are always with me. Help me to be always with You.
