As Bill Sees It

When we retire at night, we constructively review our day. Were we resentful, selfish, dishonest, or afraid? Do we owe an apology? Have we kept something to ourselves which should be discussed with another person at once? Were we kind and loving toward all? What could we have done better? Were we thinking of ourselves most of the time? Or were we thinking of what we could do for others, of what we could pack into the stream of life?

We must be careful not to drift into worry, remorse, or morbid reflection, for that would diminish our usefulness to ourselves and to others. After we making our review, we ask God’s forgiveness and inquire what corrective measures should be taken.

  1. A vital and necessary part of sobriety maintenance.
As much as we would like for everything to be “once and done”,, that’s not the way of any process such as recovery..
On January 1 I resolved to make spiritual progress.
    How am I doing?
In my customary angst, I’m doing fine.

I’m Harry, grateful alcoholic and devoted twelve stepper.

  2. Dear lord forgive me. help me to be more useful to you. I ask for knowledge of your will for me today and the power to carry that out

  3. I ask for G-d’s help today. I have a very long do list and I hope and I pray that G-d helps me to complete this list as his will and through his guidance. Last night Chris and I found a baby stranded opossum. Although he is so little he is vicious bearing his sharp teeth. Reminded of me full of fear but still trying to fight the fear with fake power. Chris is taking him to the wildlife sanctuary this morning. I have to run all the way up to Miami to pick up my boyfriend to take him to the doctor. Don’t know how I’m going to fit it all in but if I pray and have patience I know it can get done. Love to you all today. Theresa
PS as always thank you for your service Bonnie. I can never say it enough!!!

  4. Top of the morning family,
I can also use this unique time / space to review what went well.
    Whose power is available 24/7?
And Divine Mercy’s only desire is to have a relationship with that person in the mirror.
Its a good day to have good day.
