Forgiving Is Healing

I am grateful for the ability to forgive. Holding on to my resentments was a heavy burden that brought me nothing but feelings of anger, envy and jealousy.  I was so focused on my resentments that I did not see the real benefits of forgiveness.  It was truly a blessing in disguise. Not only was I able to forgive those who had harmed me, but I was also able to release all those negative feelings that I had been harboring for years.  What a relief it was to just simply let go, turn it around, and change the negative feeling of ill will towards others to the positive feeling of being at one with the Universe. Forgiveness of those who have harmed me has brought me to a place of acceptance and faith in the Spiritual Principles.

  1. Are we slow learner’s and perhaps faster forgetters?

We pray, we pray asking for forgiveness as well as t
    give forgiveness.

I need this daily reminder because I am a slow learner.
I need this daily reminder because I have a fast forgetter.

  2. Top of the morning family,
Forgiving others and that dude in the mirror doesn’t come naturally.
    – Could it be my pride?
    – Could it be that others aren’t changing for me?
    – Could it be that I don’t have a taste for humble cobbler?
Anger steals my peace, my joy, my soul.
Forgiveness and mercy is His will.
    Divine Mercy always forgives.
Today, I have a chance to do His will.

It’s a good day to have a good day.
